Description

Provides age appropriate care for one or more of the following age groups routinely: Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Assesses patient with input from the patient/family. Performs and documents assessment of the patient/family including bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs in an organized and systematic manner. Develops an individualized plan of care based upon the nursing assessment reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient/family and ensures plan is initiated, dated, and individualized by the RN within 24 hours of admission. Implements and individualizes plan of care based on nursing assessment, reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient/family. Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients/families, visitors, peers, and other health care team members. Demonstrates willingness and ability to acquire new knowledge and utilize new skills needed to improve individual, team, and organizational performance
